We are looking for an experienced Web designer with Adobe Flash design and action-scripting skills who can work in a fast paced environment with a talented team. This is an opportunity to work with a small, extremely experienced, multi-disciplinary team of creative, editorial, technical and product management professionals. You will be designing sites and product demos for our clients in the fields of consumer social networking, e-commerce, retail, technology and financial services.

This is a contract position with the potential to migrate to a full-time employee position.

You’ll need to work on site at our offices in South Park in San Francisco, or occasionally on site with our clients located throughout the Bay Area.

Responsibilities

• Design Web pages and online ads for a wide range of projects.
• Storyboard and develop interactive Flash animations

Requirements

• BFA in graphic design or equivalent work experience
• 1+ years of experience in Web design
• Experience working at a large interactive agency and working with teams of people (editorial, design, technical, quality assurance, project management) to deliver complex interactive products.
• Ability to produce high quality work for design projects, including Web pages, Flash animations and banner ads.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines
• Proficient in Adobe Flash, Photoshop, Illustrator. Some Actionscripting knowledge.
• Intuitive understanding on how to make Web pages simple and user-friendly yet appealing
• Understanding of limitations of existing Web technologies, browsers and OS platforms.
• Knowledge of HTML and CSS, Javascript/AJAX, and InDesign is a plus
• Good verbal communication
• Ability to problem-solve in a group scenario
