Business Development Manager

Job Description
We are looking for a Business Development Manager who will take us to the next level. This person will work directly with the CEO to:

  • Identify prospects
  • Develop relationships with prospects and partners in the industry
  • Follow-up on inquiries and generate sales
  • Identify opportunities from the challenges faced by our current and prospective clients
  • Invent business solutions for our clients’ needs
  • Write proposals and negotiate contacts with our clients
  • Work with existing clients to identify new opportunities and improvements


Requirements
  • High energy person that is self-motivated, enjoys talking to people and persistent in pursuing opportunities
  • Understanding of the Web business landscape, online advertising, social networking, “Web 2.0", and e-commerce
  • Knowledge of best practices and industry standards for measuring interactive initiatives (i.e. CTR, Impressions, user acquisition costs, conversion rates, etc.)
  • Understanding of consumer user interface design, good graphic design, Web technologies, and the software development process
  • 3-5 years experience in generating leads and closing deals for an interactive agency
  • Proficiency with MS Excel, Word and Powerpoint. Good writing skills for proposals
  • Desire to make a commitment to a small company to make it grow
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal communication skills for presentations, and phone sales
  • Not afraid to make cold calls
  • BA/BS
