LPSI

La Piccola Scuola Italiana di San Francisco

Overview

LPSI currently operates the Children's Italian Heritage Recreation Program in the newly-renovated annex of St. Gregory of Nyssa Episcopal Church.

The series is comprised of 10-week sessions in which children may attend a maximum of 12 hours per week. Sessions are conducted entirely in Italian, though no child is ever forced to speak Italian. Our programs give children the opportunity to explore Italian language and culture through traditional Italian songs, food, dance, literature, arts & crafts, and play. Children are grouped by age, with each group’s curriculum designed to accommodate the particular developmental stages presented by each age-group.
